K12Portal was started in 2007 in Silicon Valley. As professional software developers with over 20 years experience in brand name companies such as Oracle, Apple (Powerschool) and HP, and as parents, we set out to achieve three major goals:

Make life of Educators easier by providing the best and most productive tools.
Enable and facilitate communication between Educators, Students and Parents.
Significantly reduce cost of ownership while at the same time significantly improving performance and user experience

In order to do so, we have taken a non-traditional approach.

Community and communication is central to K12Portal. We enable information sharing between all the stakeholders on an 'opt in' basis. You are in control.
The K12Portal software is only available as a hosted solution. It saves costs and improves our ability to deliver the application to the highest quality standards
